The CAC Story
David Lawrence Rare Coins was among the first group of coin dealers to be invited to as an authorized submission for CAC. CAC, which stands for Certified Acceptance Corporation was established in 2007 by John Albanese as a grader of the grading services.
According to founder, John Albanese, "Due to today's selective collector/dealer, an ever increasing number of certified coins on the market are considered low end for their grade. CAC holds coins to a higher standard so you can be confident in the value of yours. We verify previously graded coins and award our sticker only to those coins that meet the standard for today's sophisticated buyer."

CAC Coins in the Marketplace
CAC-stickered coins have quickly rapid acceptance in the numismatic marketplace. According to David Lawrence President, John Feigenbaum, "both PCGS and NGC-graded coins tend to receive more attention on our web site and higher bidding activity in auction. Collectors appreciate the added layer of [independent] approval that CAC adds to the coins."
Here at David Lawrence, we are active two-way market makers in CAC-approved coins. If you have CAC-approved coins to sell, auction or trade, please contact us today.
