1857 "Smoking Liberty" Quarters Offered in DLRC Auction #367

Featured in this week's sale are the first examples of the newly designated 1857 "Smoking Liberty" Quarters. Discovered in 2000, Barbieri searched through over 30,000 Seated Liberty quarters dated 1857 and was able to find only 28 pieces.
