PCGS describes the coin as VF details with a repair, yet we have thoroughly examined this coin and can find only a single minor flaw on the forehead of Liberty that warrants a non-numeric grade. Beautiful old silver surfaces cover both sides, and the strike is lovely for the type with good hair detail on Liberty and feathers on the eagle.
A simply beautiful AU of this draped bust half dollar type coin. At first glance the obverse of this coin appears to be MS62 or MS63. It's a cherry. The reverse has light cabinet friction on the high points but, by all merits, the coin should be in an AU58 holder. A real beauty. CAC approved for quality and eye appeal.
