Here we come across one of our favorite dates in the entire Morgan set, especially among the Philadelphia issues. The 1894 is an unsung key date rarity that is highly coveted in all mint state grades. MS65s are virtually unseen. In fact, this may be the first such example we have ever offered.
Population at PCGS of just 16 coins with three better. This coin will enjoy spirited bidding. It is undipped white and very well struck at the high end for the grade. An undisputed gem that many bidders will fight for.
