Classic key date Barber quarter. One of the 'big 3' keys along with the 1901-S and 1913-S.
Amazingly rare and desirable in the middle circulated grades of Fine-AU, this VF20 is the perfect addition to a collector set. Sharp date and mintmark with full legible Liberty. Fresh, even grey color and very high end for the grade. A wonderful coin with original surfaces which seldom comes to the market.

I was very glad to see that John Feigenbaum is on the PNG committee to come up with a definition of coin doctoring. I am an avid collector, and have been for many years. A little over two years ago I got back in to coin collecting (after a six year hiatus), but have always worried that some unscrupulous dealer might sell me a certified coin that has been doctored. I’m sure I don’t have the expertise to always spot this. Probably 75% or more of my current collection has come from David Lawren... (more)
