Item Description: Exciting Double-Struck Bust Dollar

Amazing double struck Bust dollar with clear doubling on all the major details on both sides. Clear doubling is noted on every major detail from the LIBERTY, to the stars on the obverse, and similar doubling on the back. To our knowledge this is one of the most dramatically doubled Bust dollars around.

The details of the coin are otherwise sharp XF-AU and the coin was lightly cleaned some years ago and since retoned naturally a smoky grey. The damage referred to on the holder is in the form of old nicks and marks on the surfaces which must be over 100 years old as they match the rest of the wear on the coin.

Overall a very cool variety for the specialist.
