A very fresh proof that is so close to gem. In fact, we think it is a proof-65 and the folks at CAC liked it. Old NGC holder. The 1873-78 Trade dollar proofs are much scarcer than the 1880-83 (proof only) issues and are much harder to find. CAC approved for quality and eye appeal.
