1892-O 50c PCGS Good-6 (Micro O) DLRC #: 310254 Track
This coin is part of the Long Beach Show. Click here for details.
The 1892-O, Micro o half dollar is one of the great rarities in 20th century numismatics, and the scarcest date in the Barber half set. This coin is tremendously difficult to find in ANY grade and most often seen in AG (as are most 1892-O halves). The example offered here is actually a solid VG-8 (3 full letters of LIBERTY are visible, with full rims) but PCGS net-graded the coin to Good-6 becuase the surfaces were once very lightly cleaned. Not so much that PCGS didn't want to grade it, but they compromised. Either way, this is a tremendous opportunity for the collector to fill an impossible hole.
