Very desirable and historic matched pair of O-mint seated halves recovered from the SS Republic shipwreck. An interesting issue as it represents the last time during the Civil War that the US struck half dollars at the New Orleans mint because Louisiana seceded from the Union. These coins come with the original deluxe marketing box and DVD packaging. We believe they originally sold for around $4000.
