Item Description: A gorgeous mint state example of this desirable and very scarce Classic head type issue. All Classic head large cents are rare in mint state because the planchets used in that era were notoriously poor quality. Almost all surviving coins exhibit corrosion, or worse. This coin is a choice mint state with lovely, clean surfaces and no distracting marks. A great piece.
