A magnificent gem of this key high grade Barber dime. Choice gem surfaces with a generous layer of medium-toning and great luster. A remarkable strike for an O-mint. David Lawrence referred to this issue as a Philippine Hoard date. Most of the 1899-O and 1900-O dimes were sent to the Philippines for circulation which renders remaining examples quite scarce in high grade. CAC approved for quality and eye appeal.
