I was very glad to see that John Feigenbaum is on the PNG committee to come up with a definition of coin doctoring. I am an avid collector, and have been for many years. A little over two years ago I got back in to coin collecting (after a six year hiatus), but have always worried that some unscrupulous dealer might sell me a certified coin that has been doctored. I’m sure I don’t have the expertise to always spot this. Probably 75% or more of my current collection has come from David Lawren... (more)
