Item Description:

Bright and lustrous for this date, and starting to tone with gold along the upper obverse rim. Fully struck by the dies, and very pleasing for the grade. As nice as this date is usually found, and one of the best of the handful of gems we've seen offered recently. If you are a Washington Quarter specialist, this coin would make a welcome addition to any advanced collection.
