Item Description:
First year of issue of the Dime denomination from the newly opened Carson City, Nevada Mint. Only 20,100 Dimes were struck this year. This example is choice original with even medium toning overall. Very rare as a date, the celebrated Pittman Collection actually lacked this date and the best Eliasberg could find was a cleaned AU. This specimen is equal to or better than nine others seen sold in the past decade.

NGC Census: Only 13 have been certified graded.
