Item Description:
Under-graded and underappreciated in the Eliasberg catalog, this coin has a lovely golden toning on both sides with darker shades near the rims and is clearly a choice uncirculated specimen of this very difficult date. From a mintage of 740,000, very few coins have survived in this state of preservation or finer. Pedigree back to the Clapp state.
