Item Description:
This is the scarce double die reverse with strong doubling seen on QUAR DOL and UNITED. The coin is generally white in color with light scattered flecks of gold over the surfaces. Boldly struck on the stars, but the centers show weakness on Liberty and the eagle. A very late reverse die state with a small rim cud over the T of UNITED and cracks extending through the upper lettering nearby. One for the collector who appreciates the die state and double die feature, and can stretch for a select mint state coin.
