    Choice Colonial

    1766 Pitt Halfpenny PCGS/CAC XF40

    Vault Value
    $2,000.00

Often referred to as Pitt tokens, the Colonial pieces were issued in honor of William Pitt, a British politician who concerned himself trying to get the Stamp Act repealed. Attractive, chocolate brown specimen with CAC approval for quality.

    Beautiful AU

    1793 1/2c PCGS AU50 ex: D.L. Hansen

    $31,750.00

Lovely and well-preserved AU example. Light, even wear present across the reliefs. Smooth olive-brown surfaces show hints of original red patina and nice remaining luster. The Hansen Collection holds the finest known example for the date, a MS65BN.

    Elusive Half Cent

    1802/0 1/2c PCGS F15 (Rev of 1802) ex: D.L. Hansen

    $5,750.00

The 1802 half cent is a challenging date and the key issue in the Draped Bust series. The Reverse of 1800 is so rare as to be almost prohibitive with just a handful known, making the reverse of 1802 the primary collectible variety. The present coin has a even dark chocolate color throughout and nice eye appeal for the grade. The number one set holds a VF20 example for the date.

    Scarce Variety

    1828 1/2c PCGS/CAC MS63 BN (12 Stars) ex: D.L. Hansen

    Next Bid: $1,775.00
Ends Today @ 8:01 PM EST

Scarce variety that is much tougher than its 13-star counterpart. Nicely struck with distraction free surfaces. Attractive golden-brown coloration throughout with deep charcoal tones featured on the portrait and left field of the obverse. CAC approved for quality. The primary set houses a MS64BN example for the date.
