The 1842 small date half is a very scarce coin, that is rare in higher grades. Just a handful in MS64, with only 2 finer at PCGS. The last CAC approved example to sell at auction brought $9694 (Heritage: 6/14). A great coin for the specialist. CAC approved for quality.
The arrows and rays half was only struck for one year as the design was quickly modified to remove the rays on the reverse due to wear issues. Since this design only lasted one year this coin has become an extremely popular and desirable type coin. CAC approved for quality.
