    Next Bid: $27,250.00
    Closes: 10D 1H

While the San Francisco issues of this popular date were sinking in the Atlantic Ocean aboard the SS Central America, the New Orleans mint produced 30,000 coins for consumption amongst banks. A limited number survive today, and this high-end AU offers extraordinary eye appeal! Sharp detail and smooth medium-gold surfaces are highlighted by substantial remaining luster. Great eye appeal!

    Scarce Carson City Issue

    1893-CC $20 NGC MS63

    Next Bid: $47,000.00
    Closes: 10D 1H

A surprisingly nice mint state example of this popular and scarce Carson City issue with a mintage of just 18,402 coins. Housed in an older NGC container, this piece exhibits beautiful orange-peel surfaces with glowing luster. Fresh from a collection in the Midwest, this piece is absolutely choice for the grade and high-end on the eye appeal scale. Only one or two pieces, perhaps are graded finer by both services.
