A pleasing and scarce Mint State example of this early Large Cent type coin. Blended medium brown and darker chocolate tones grace the frosty, delightfully smooth surfaces.
Glossy deeply toned surfaces are well-detail despite honest high-point wear.
An incredible Mint State survivor! Touches of original mint color can be seen beneath rich patina of chocolate brown.
The 1804 large cent is one of the Redbook keys to the draped bust set, along with the 1799. A very challenging issue as most coins have some sort of impaired surfaces. This pleasing mid grade example is quite attractive and nicely detail despite even rub over the high-points.
