Better S-mint to locate with the Red designation. PCGS+ grade for premium quality at the top of end of the assigned grade.
Very popular and scarce issue. This is a strong variety. The secondary S is evident clearly protruding from the top of the D.
Very popular and scarce no stars design for the Seated dime series, issued without stars on the obverse. The obverse was quickly replaced later in 1838 with stars, making 1837(-P) and the 1838-O as the only no stars issues. The O-mint is the scarcer of the two.
