Degree of Toning: 1/10
DLRC Inventory #: 1569270

Item Description:
A historic medal designed by Herman A. MacNeil, the designer of the Standing Liberty Quarter. Struck to celebrate the World's Fair in Buffalo, NY in 1901, the gold example is incredibly rare and this is one of possibly 2 known, the other being damaged. The exposition is most remembered as the location as to where US President William McKinley was assassinated on September 6, 1901. From the widow of Jay Cline, this piece is a fantastic example of numismatic history.
