Item Description:
Very tough Civil War era gold piece struck at the San Francisco mint. Frosty, lustrous surfaces with high end eye appeal, this date did not survive well as most pieces produced circulated heavily, which accounts for the fact that only 3 pieces are graded as uncirculated by PCGS with only 7 graded as such by NGC.
