DLRC #: 301841 // PCGS #: 1504
The 1804 restikes were minted around 1860 from the original dies of the 1803 large cent to meet demand of collectors at the time. The dies were clearly quite rusted but that did not deter the minters of the time. While not a mint issued product, these coins have become desirable by collectors today and have a listing in the Redbook as well. CAC approved for quality and eye appeal.
