Closed On: Monday, May 1, 2006 6:52 PM.
Realized: $16,100.

Item Description:
One of the big '3' key date Barber quarters, the 1913-S boasts the lowest mintage of any 20th century silver coin issue. Just 40,000 coins were struck and very few are preserved in high grades. This lovely MS64 coin is the perfect fit for the collector who doesn't have the budget to step up to MS65's which now run over $20,000. Lightly prooflike on the obverse with a brilliant reverse touched by a hint of faint gold. A PQ coin to be sure
