A mint state double eagle rarity with great eye appeal. This is the first uncircualted specimen we have handled of this issue and it could just as easily been graded MS61. Rarely to these trade in auction. A recent MS61 example brought $14,950 (Heritage: 8/06). A great coin for the collecting investor.
