Item Description:
PCGS #35063. Scarce type coin from 1794! An example of the Cohen 9 die variety, this would make an excellent type coin, as it is the more common of the three varieties. Pleasing chocolate surfaces exhibit olive-gold overtones and are delightfully smooth and boldly detailed. The relief of the hair is medallic and three-dimensional in appearance. PCGS+ grade for premium quality at the top of end of the assigned grade. An AU50 example of this variety resides in the Hansen Collection primary set.
