Nice and original surfaces reveal undertones of blue and purple with strong detail for the grade. The rarest regular issue coin in the Bust half dollar set, the 1815/2 is the only collectible variety of the 1815 year. Only 47,150 coins struck this year which is a fraction of the next lowest mintage issue in the series. CAC approved for quality. The Hansen Collection hosts a MS63 example of this overdate.
