1930-S $10 NGC MS65

DLRC #: 214435 // PCGS #: 8883

The 1930-S half eagle is one of the most exciting of all the Indian gold issues of this denomination. In what is considered by many to be one of our most beautiful coin designs, this key date stands out in part due to its low mintage of 96,000 coins. More importantly, most of the mintage has not survived and scholars believe 200-300 coins remain. Only a handful of gems have been graded MS65 by either PCGS or NGC and scant few finer. The example offered is a choice gem with radiant surfaces. A mark is noted around 7 o'clock on the obverse. Without that, this coin would likely achieve an even higher grade. This is great opportunity to obtain one of the most exciting issues in a highly desirable coin series.
