Closed On: Thursday, August 9, 2007 6:22 PM.
Realized: $8,625.

Item Description:

A very attractive and lustrous example of this scarce draped bust type coin. At first glance this coin has the appearance and details of an AU58 but there are a number of very light marks in the fields which do not distract, but account for the AU53 designation.

Bass-Dannreuther-2 (Blunt 1 variety; rarity 3+; 175-250 known)
