Item Description:
PCGS #39330. An elusive Guide Book blundered legend variety, this pleasing XF is tied for finest known example of this significant die pairing. The Overton-124 is the only die marriage that corresponds to the 1806 E/A in STATES. Clear remnants of the erroneous A can be seen beneath the primary E in STATES. The well-struck surfaces are ideally centered and display attractive lavender-grey coloration. Strong underlying luster lights up the delightfully smooth fields.
