Item Description:
The key to the Barber half dollar set, the 1904-S is a rarity that should and will soon transcend the Barber half set to collectors of key date coinage. This coin has light blue-gold toning over lustrous surfaces and a solid, but not full, strike. We cannot emphasize enough how much we love the 1904-S half in mint state as an issue -- it simply should be compared with the 1901-S quarter, 1921-S half, 1916-D dime and so on. Except one would see those coins in unc far more often than a 1904-S.
