Pricing Guidance:
DLRC Estimate: $7,000.00

Item Description:
A scarce date/mint, especially in higher grades, the 1853-D Quarter Eagle has a low mintage of just 3,178 pieces. With only a handful of uncirculated examples known, this is about as good as a collector can expect to find. Bright yellow gold, with some moderate roughness on the obverse, but more "struck up" than most examples of the date.
