White and stunningly gorgeous. The fields show heavy die polish lines, suggesting that this coin may have been struck with retired proof dies, or perhaps the dies were polished to remove heavy die clashing. Whatever the case, this is a shockingly beautiful example, and certainly among the finest known with only 31 finer between both services.
