Item Description:
The type C reverse 1964-D is a very tough variety, especially in gem grade. For a brief time at the end of the run, the Mint used the reverse die of a 1965 quarter, thus creating the type C. Perhaps only a dozen finer examples exist, with the finest being MS66, one of which auctioned for $2350 back in 2014!
