DLRC Estimate: $33,750.00

Item Description:
A beautifully preserved example of this this popular Dahlonega issue! Plenty of bright luster and the lightest amount of wear on the hair of the obverse and eagle's wings on the reverse. Gorgeous lemon-golden color bathes the surfaces creating great in hand eye appeal. The fields retain a moderate amount of proof-like effect as well! Doug Winter reports that this date almost always comes heavily abraded. Here we have the exception, with really only a single significant bag mark under the left eagle wing. An exciting piece for Southern Mint enthusiasts with a rather scant mintage of 20,583.
