1887 3cN NGC Proof 64 ex: Richmond Collection

DLRC #: 287726 // PCGS #: 3783

Mintage 2,960 but some of these are known to be 1887/6 overdates. A proof 3CN with pleasing reflectivity and smooth surfaces with no singularly mentionable post-striking impairments. The toning on both sides is of tan-gold, the reverse in addition being finely streaked over its entirety. An inconspicuous lint mark is visible on Liberty's chin, and an area of softness in the dentilation is noted on either side, but otherwise the coin is well impressed.
