Realized: $13,800.

Item Description:
A very exciting mint state example of this first year of Type 2 Liberty double eagle. Smooth, lustrous surfaces with no major distractions. In fact, we could just as easily see this coin in an MS62 holder. Currently there is just (1) MS62 at PCGS and (1) MS64 making this piece one of the few affordable mint state examples of this better date.
