Item Description:
The Proof 1841 Large cent is a rare early issue from an estimated mintage of 30 coins. The amazing coin offered here is graded Proof 64 RB by PCGS and CAC approved for quality and eye appeal. In our opinion the quality of this coin rivals Proof 65 RB's of coins in this era. The obverse easily qualifies as a full Red designation where the reverse has lightly mellowed brown coloring. The strike and reflective surfaces make the proof designation one of the easiest determiners of any early Large cent you'll see. A great coin for a date set collector, or someone who has been waiting for a gorgeous Proof large cent for a type set.
