Item Description:
Here's a lovely example of this rare early draped bust half dime. There are only two known die varieties from 1796. LM-1 and LM-2. LM-2 is technically an overdate (1796/5) and the scarcer of the two varieties. This coin is LM-1 and is a beautiful AU at that. Very sharp details with lustrous surfaces. A great coin for the serious collector of early numismatics.
