Item Description:
A pleasing, high grade example of this rare, low mintage date. Bright yellow, with a Choice appearance lowered by a mark at Liberty’s eye and another on the rim at 4:00. The strike is decent enough, with ample hair details but with some weakness on the stars at lower left. The mintage for this date was a mere 8,382 coins, most of which have simply disappeared over the years.
