Item Description:
Satiny on the obverse, semi-reflective on the reverse. A small scratch in front of Liberty’s face looks more like a clash mark. This remarkable coin is on par with (but not struck as well as) the PCGS AU-58 Bass coin, which was called “Probably Second Finest Known”. That’s perhaps a bit optimistic today, due to the existence of more than 10 coins that have been graded Mint State by PCGS and NGC, but there is no denying that this is an important 'collector coin' ...
