Another classic rarity from the Liberty Head Eagle series. This example has intense luster, definite Prooflike tendencies, and a scrumptious blend of orange toning and green-gold surfaces. Like the 1870-CC, this is a date that has not yet been found in Mint State (nor do we expect one to appear).

This is one of only two AU-53 examples graded by NGC, with none finer. In fact...
