1842-C $2 1/2 NGC XF40

DLRC #: 87049 // PCGS #: 7724

Original, green-gold surfaces. Softly struck on some of the high points, but circulation wear also accounts for some of the loss of details. A patch of barely visible spots is noted on the lower right reverse. Comparable in rarity to the 1842-D, the 1842-C becomes difficult to find in any grades better than the one offered here.
