Auction Name: Richmond Sale, Part I.
Closed On: Wednesday, July 21, 2004 6:00 PM.
Realized: $1,553.
Pricing Guidance:
CDN CPG® Value: $1,940.00 (What's CPG®?)

Item Description:
Traces of Prooflike luster glitter from within the recessed areas. The surfaces show only minimal wear and the color is a lovely honey-gold. A circular mark appears on Liberty’s cheek and a hairline scratch can be seen in the lower left obverse field. A scarce date and, again, the lowest mintage of any of the minting facilities for this year. Finding any example is a real challenge.
