Item Description:
Smooth surfaces and a hard, metallic luster. Very nicely struck, with full hair and feather details, even on the eagle’s trailing leg. The only marks worthy of note are a small one on Liberty’s cheekbone and another in the upper left reverse field in front of the eagle’s beak.

The 1911-D $10 has the lowest average quality of any date in the entire series. It is the only date which has never been graded MS-65 or above by NGC...
